Small Paintings

These small paintings are done quickly outside in good weather. They are fresh and spontaneous. I like to stand in one site in the morning and another in the afternoon. The light has inconsistencies so I don’t stand in one place the whole day. Usually I am going for the field patterns, shape, and texture in the landscape or in running water. These things fascinate me.
